AGA STOVES

Precision-cast and expertly finished by skilled craftsmen, every stove in the AGA range is built to last and uses the latest technology to increase efficiency.

Hand-made to perfection
The cast-iron panels of an AGA stove are individually moulded in a hand-finished cast. This allows our skilled craftsmen to create the elegant curves and exquisite design details our iconic models are renowned for.

Warms your home for longer
We use cast-iron for its excellent heat retention properties. Even when the embers die away, heat continues to radiate throughout the room. And thanks to the precision-engineered spinwheels and AGA Active Airwash System, AGA stoves offer greater control of the fire.

Build quality that lasts
Like all AGA products, our range of stoves is manufactured to an exceptionally high standard. That's why they carry the CE mark - as they fulfil all necessary European health, safety and environmental protection legislation - and are HETAS (Heating Equipment Testing and Approvals Scheme) listed. For further peace of mind, every AGA stove comes with a five-year parts and one-year labour warranty.

AGA Active Air Wash System
This clever technology is used to keep the glass of our stoves clean, allowing a clear view of the fire, while ensuring every stove runs as efficiently as possible. This guarantees maximum heat output is achieved from the fuel used and minimises harmful emissions. It also creates the perfect conditions for combustion by carefully channelling fresh air below, around and above the firebox. Before re-entering the atmosphere, any solid particles and volatile gases produced by the fire are re-ignited and destroyed.
Stove or open fire?
An open fire will warm the room, but it has many drawbacks that a stove doesn't. For example, the majority of heat produced by an open fire - up to 85% - will escape through the chimney. Using a stove, heat remains in the room due to the warm air that's continuously circulating around it. And, because an AGA stove is made with cast-iron panels, it can store heat while the stove is lit - so the heat continues radiating through the room long after the embers have died away.

A stove is also much more efficient at circulating heat through large rooms and the warmth can even rise up stairwells to landings. This means you won't have to rely as much on other heating systems within your home, which could in turn reduce your energy bills.

SIA

The Stove Industry Alliance (SIA) is an alliance of manufacturers, distributors, advisory/test house bodies and other interested parties who sell stoves, both space heaters and boiler stoves, and also flue and chimney products and fuel.

ministerley wood burning stove

Ministerley

A great choice for the family home, the Minsterley stove will radiate its gentle warmth throughout the house and provide hot water in abundance.

One of our larger stoves, the Minsterley has been engineered with hot water performance as a priority. Its hot water to space heating ratio is excellent, meaning that unlike similar appliances, any excess heat the Minsterley produces isn't lost to the room.

Impressive performance isn't limited to supplying hot water on demand - it is also a central heating system that offers flexibility as well as fuel economy. Thanks to its interchangeable fuel plate, the Minsterley can use either wood or solid fuel - running at 75.5% efficiency when burning wood.

Its high efficiency is down to the AGA Active Air Wash System, clever engineering that results in a clean stove window, clean combustion and low emissions. The Minsterley stove also has convenient overnight burning capability, a handy thermostatic device that allows you to program your ideal temperature and primary and secondary air intakes that provide greater control. Available in matt black.

rembrandt wood burning stove

Rembrandt

With its beautifully ribbed canopy hood, front plate and polished brass finials, the Rembrandt is a modern twist on the traditional open grate.

Open fires tend to create cold draughts because of the amount of air they draw in. That's not the case with the Rembrandt. Its adjustable throat plate within the chimney minimises draughts and improves energy efficiency, while the cast-iron hood absorbs and radiates additional heat into the room from the escaping combustion products.

As a result of these intelligent design characteristics, the Rembrandt is one of the most efficient open fire choices available, and is listed by HETAS (Heating Equipment Testing and Approvals Scheme) - the Government-recognised body that approves solid fuel domestic heating appliances, fuels and services.

The stove's clever adjustable throat plate and cast-iron hood also make this stove a perfect, more energy-efficient choice for transforming an inglenook fireplace. Available in matt black.
